Scott started with Mountain Camp in 1993. He directs the marketing, new program development, and the overall administration of the camp. Scott is a graduate of Baylor University and has served as the Western Association of Independent Camps Vice-President and President of the Northern California Section. Additionally, he is an American Camping Association accredited Camp Director. Scott is committed to advancing Mountain Camp's excellent reputation and programs.
Don first began working for Mountain Camp in 1993 and currently oversees all year round operations. From 1999 to 2003 Don left Mountain Camp to direct Bruin Woods, the UCLA Alumni Family Camp, on Lake Arrowhead and later, the Coronado Academy in Costa Rica. Don is a proud graduate of UCLA (go Bruins!) and is currently serving as the Northern California Vice President of the Western Association of Independent Camps.
Kamren Johnson joined the Mountain Camp family in 2000 as a camp counselor and was promoted to a full time staff employee in 2002. Kamren is in charge of many aspects of camp including camper enrollment. She is a very talented and tireless worker and is dedicated to making sure your camper has the best summer of their lives!
Sally began working for Mountain Camp in 1994 as a counselor and activity leader. She is a graduate of San Francisco State University and holds a teaching credential in Biology. Throughout her many years with the Mountain Camp program Sally has taken on a large number of diverse jobs and responsibilities – perhaps her most noble and courageous act occurred in 2003 when Sally married the owner Scott.
Andy joined the Mountain Camp family in 1993. He graduated from Salisbury College with a concentration in Recreation Education, and has been employed by the South Australian Education Department as an aquatics and swimming instructor since 1981. Currently, he is the senior instructor in charge of surfing and body boarding at the Port Noarlunga Primary School and Aquatics center in South Australia.
Toby Lukins started at Moutain Camp in 2001. He graduated from Regency college where his focus was Environmental and Adventure Tourism and Education. Toby spent many years working as a guide before moving to West Lakes Primary School and Aquatics Center where he teaches a wide range of aquatic activities including kayaking, canoeing, surfing and snorkeling. Toby runs many programs at camp including the Ropes Course and Mountain Biking programs.
