Accordingly, he has set down redwood roots up and down the California coastline and now proudly calls himself a California kid. A surfer, fisherman and avid bird watcher ('cause as he'll tell you, "if you want to know where the fish are, watch the birds"), Mike's love for the outdoors may only be surpassed by the soft spot he has in his heart for watermelon jolly ranchers. A graduate from Santa Barbara City College, Mike has relocated to San Francisco where he'll return in the fall to pursue a degree in nursing, perhaps to teach others about the detriments of eating raw hot dogs.
