Head Counselor: Cameren M.Cami is best known around Mountain Camp for her title as the undefeated Chubby Bunny Champion (two years running), her dodgeball moves that only a spider monkey could immitate, and her ability to actually predict rainfall up to 30 seconds before the first drop hits the dirt. Originally from the East Bay Area in California, Cami has spent the last four years earning a bachelor's degree in Art Education and Studio Fine Arts. After graduating in May of 2011, she looks forward to throwing her (already packed) bags into the pack of her sporty Honda Civic and making her way up Ice House Road to beautiful Mountain Camp to spend the summer doing what she loves most: being a camp counselor! |

Head Counselor: Brett B.Brett Botens grew up in Cuba, New York, a small town tucked away in the Allegheny Hills. After high-school Brett attended Selkirk College in Nelson, British Columbia. After skiing as much as he possibly could while being a full time student, Brett decided to continue on with college. He attended West Virginia University, where he graduated May of 2009. After completing his degree he knew it was time to head west again. Brett has always bounced around out west chasing the diamond dust (also known as pow pow, freshies, and of course snow), but come summer time there's no place like Mountain Camp, this will be his third summer. Brett has spent his last two winters working for Breckenridge Ski Resort and Big Sky Ski Resort. He has been skiing since he was 2 years old; naturally his passion for skiing has influenced his love for the outdoors. After this year's ski season was a loss due to injury, Brett is eager to hit the ground running (very fast) this summer at Mountain Camp!! |

Program Coordinator: Alex Y.Just a city boy, born and raised in north Detroit, Alex can't get enough of the good times that come naturally at Mountain Camp and is excited to spend his third summer on staff. Once a Mountaineer and always a Mountaineer, Alex spent his college years at West Virginia University. At WVU he was able to enjoy two of his strongest passions, the great outdoors, obtaining a degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Resources, and the beautiful game of futbol, as a four year member of the WVU Men's Soccer team. Graduating in 2009, Alex and fellow staff members Eric Schulz and Brett Botens packed up their things and headed west. In the past two years Alex has worked in California, Colorado, and Montana, and is truly enjoying easing his way into the "real world." As a kid, Alex used to do all the same things that he does today, be active, play sports, seek adventure, and hang with friends. Though his tastes in music and food may have evolved, Alex never has any trouble quoting his childhood icon Peter Pan, and saying, "I'm never growing up." |

Program Coordinator: Adam V.Adam Vergino grew up in the bay area, and graduated in 2009 from U.C. Davis with a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation Biology. Much of his young life was spent in the Sierra's fishing and riding his bike. He's a gifted mechanic and is working on his own mountain biking guide service in the bay area. |

Cabin Counselor: Erika L.Erika grew up outside of San Francisco in the beautiful Walnut Creek. She is loving her first year at Cal Poly where she is studying Graphic Communication. Erika speaks Swedish fluently and a little bit of Spanish and enjoys traveling to Sweden every other summer. She loves soccer and most other sports, any sort of art/photography, and riding her bike everywhere. As a child Erika loved beating the neighborhoods boys at 4-square and backyard soccer. She also loved making jewelry and friendship bracelets with her friends. Erika loves the Sierras and can’t wait to spend this summer in the mountains by the lake! |

Cabin Counselor: Hannah S.Hannah Swindall is a 21 year old student who lives Atlanta, Georgia. She attends Georgia State University and is studying Environmental Sciences and Psychology. Hannah's favorite past times included reading, traveling, volleyball, anything outside, and playing with her dog, Spencer. Last summer, Hannah traveled to South Africa for five weeks and volunteered at a baboon rehabilitation center, so after that your campers should be no problem! Hannah's favorite childhood activity was talking about anything to anyone who would listen, which may explain her outgoing personality and ability to make fast friends. Hannah is very excited about being a part of Mountain Camp and can't wait to start making memories this summer! |

Cabin Counselor: Colette B.Hailing from the farms of northeastern Pennysylvania, Colette Boylan is currently a senior at Temple University in Phiadelphia where she studies Film and Media Arts. Outside of school she volunteers her time with media education programs, works at a cafÈ making coffee and playing with the customers' dogs, and bicycles around the city. When she has the spare time, Colette enjoys international travel, dancing, and making delicious homemade veggie burgers. As a child, Colette would often write poetry, tap dance, and dream of the day she could be in a famous band and dance on stage. At the age of twenty-one, she still waits for this day. |

Cabin Counselor: Adam Y.Adam Yardley's hometown is Adelaide, Australia. He went to school at Brighton Secondary School and these days works at West Lakes Aquatic Centre teaching activities such as kayaking, sailing, snorkelling and surfing. Adam's hobbies include playing guitar, surfing, Aussie rules football and hanging out with mates. As a kid, Adam was usually running around dressed as his favourite cartoon carachters such as the Ninja Turtles and Captain Planet! |

Cabin Counselor: Ben E.Ben Elie is originally from Berkeley, California, but moved to France as a child where he grew up. While studying Theatre and Film, Ben likes just about any fun activity with other enjoyable people, biking, being in the outdoors (not much choice when there is a dog to be walked), and even ping-pong. Some of his best childhood memories are of constructing fortresses - from Legos to into the woods - and traveling around Europe on family vacations: this probably being one of the reasons to journey half around the world to Mountain Camp from Dublin, Ireland, where he is going into his second year at Trinity College. |

Cabin Counselor: Calum B.Calum is a student from Scotland. He lives in a village near Edinburgh but went to school in the city of Edinburgh. He is now studying sports coaching at college and is interested in all sports. Rugby is his passion, but he also enjoys golf and cricket. Cabin Counselor: Nick P.Nick Piatt is from the well known metropolis of Moraga, California in the Bay Area, home of the Saint Mary's Gaels (his favorite college basketball team). He is going into his junior year at San Francisco State University, majoring in Cinema. In his free time Nick enjoys making people laugh (especially through Improvised comedy), making movies, creative writing, acting, camping/backpacking in the Sierras, and playing sports. As a child, Nick believed that he could be anyone he wanted to be, putting on ridiculous costumes, running around the house like a wild man. If he wasn't inside being a goofball, he was constantly outdoors exploring the backyard. Nick was a camper at Mt. Camp for seven years, calling Mt. Camp his home away from home. He is very excited to be returning to Mt. Camp as a camp counselor, and to create a fun camp experience for each and every camper. |

Cabin Counselor: Jeff H.Jeff Hester grew up in Menlo Park, California and attended Mountain Camp for three years as an eager young camper. He is now currently finishing up his degree in English, Creative Writing at Colorado College in Colorado Springs. Jeff is an overly-active member of the college's ultimate frisbee team and, in his free time, Jeff produces books, posters and ephemera at the school's independent printingpress. As a child, Jeff would often spend his summers in a tent he pitched in his backyard, where he would read Calvin and Hobbes and draw pictures of dinosaurs. |

Cabin Counselor: Samantha J.Samantha is from beautiful "Red Rock Country," Arizona also known as Sedona. She currently attends Santa Clara University where she studies Communication and Environmental Studies. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, running, and biking, and even does them all together when she races triathlons. When she's not training or studying she loves taking pictures for the school newspaper, eating mac and cheese, dancing in the rain, and traveling. As a child, Samantha attended Mountain Camp with her brother, where they were known for their performance of the "Lady Bug Song." Cabin Counselor: Sarah L.Sarah grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. Aside from her everyday office job as an online training developer, Sarah works as an instructor, teaching kids of all ages soccer and surf awareness. She spent her childhood dressing up with friends, playing music and taking advantage of what the Aussie coast had to offer. Now she's 18, nothing's really changed ñ when she's not working, Sarah's socialising with friends, seeing new places and keeping fit, competing for her local surf life saving club. |

Cabin Counselor: Kelsey L.Kelsey was born and raised in a small city in California called Martinez. For the past four years she has been living in Chico, CA. She is a student at Chico State and will be receiving her multiple subject teaching credential after completing one year of student teaching next school year. Throughout college she has worked part time at an animal hospital and loves spending time with furry creatures especially her cat, Dudley. When she's not studying she enjoys running, swimming, scrap booking, playing wii and going to the movies. Cabin Counselor: Sarah L.Sarah Lisker is from Oakland, California and just completed her third year at UCLA where she studies Spanish as well as Geography & Environmental Studies (challenge her to a country-naming contest). She loves spending her time biking to farmers markets and trying to get as many free samples as possible, pickling vegetables, making ice cream, and then eating the ice cream. As a kid, even before she was a camper at Mountain Camp, she enjoyed selling pungent "perfumes" of soap and wildflowers to her unsuspecting neighbors. She can't think of a better way to spend her summer than at her favorite camp! |

Cabin Counselor: Lauren W.Lauren Wilkinson is from Adelaide in South Australia. Currently she is spending her working days baking and decorating cupcakes in a lovely eccentric cafÈ. She's looking forward to studying teaching after this year of travel. In her free time she is either at the beach with her friends, walking the hills with her well loved dogs, windsurfing at the river or camping with friends while catching fish and yabbies! Contrary to popular belief with these majors, he still does have enough time to see the light of day and hang out with friends. His hobbies include spending time outdoors, playing sports, and having fun with his friends. His time outdoors has been spent backpacking, camping, or even just relaxing on the beach. He loves to laugh and spend time in the company of other fun-loving people. As a child, he loved sports and would play on any team he had time for. Cabin Counselor: Aaron K.After spending six summers at Mountain Camp as a camper, and last summer as a counselor, Aaron is back for another amazing summer. Originally from the bay area, Aaron now resides in the central coast town of San Luis Obispo where he is working towards a degree in Economics at Cal Poly. When not in class, Aaron can be found mountain biking in Montano De Oro state park, as he enjoys spending as much time outside as possible. After graduation in the fall, Aaron plans on feeding his travel bug by living in and exploring a new city, just as he did in Madrid for five months in 2010. As a child Aaron spent all of his free time playing baseball and cruising around town on his skateboard or mountain bike. Aaron could not be more excited to be returning to camp this summer! |

Cabin Counselor: Lesley H.Lesley hails from Petaluma, a small city north of San Francisco that is famous for being the Chicken Capitol of the World (at one time it was home to more chickens than people), and for its preposterous number of potholes. As much as she loved her home she recently kicked Petaluma's dust off her feet and headed to Berkeley, which is famous mostly for its hippies. She is now studying political science at UC Berkeley, and trying to soak up as much knowledge as she can before she is forced to graduate. She spends her free time working as an activist against the budget cuts and various other causes, taking sailing lessons in the marina, playing violin and guitar, and reading random wikipedia pages. As a child, Lesley loved playing baseball and was the only girl on her Little League baseball team. |

She currently resides in Santa Cruz, where she studies Environmental Science at the beautiful UC campus up in the trees. Santa Cruz is the perfect location from her, as it is just like a giant playground for nature lovers. In between classes, she likes to climb the tall redwoods, watch the resident squirrels, and bore her friends with the cool facts she learned that day. Aside from that, her hobbies include exploring, camping, and her newest obsession- rock climbing. Cabin Counselor: Eric S.After graduating from Central Michigan University two years ago, Eric wandered out of his home in Royal Oak, Michigan and drove to Mountain Camp for the first stop on his new adventure. Leaving camp with friends and memories to last a lifetime, he continued on to Colorado where he jumped into the ski/snowboard industry. He then followed the snow south and began riding and working at a resort in Australia. By this time snow was flowing through his veins and he yearned for a place with endless powder which brought him to Niseko on the northern island of Japan. After a magical season in the land of the rising sun and deep snow, summer fun is beckoning once again. Eric is returning to Mountain Camp this summer and can't wait to be back doing all the things he's loved as a kid like mountain biking, climbing, playing sports, swimming, and so much more! |

Cabin Counselor: Carolina O.Coca O'Donnell spent her childhood pretending she was a superhero and beating everyone at dodgeball in Menlo Park, California. Now a rising junior studying Sociology at the George Washington University in Washington, DC, she played on the varsity volleyball team as a freshman and is probably one of the tallest, goofiest girls you will ever meet. Her hobbies include volleyball, skateboarding, drawing comic books, rejecting bad puns on her name, walking her dog, telling lame jokes, and soundly beating anyone who challenges her to Harry Potter trivia contests (she's never lost). Cabin Counselor: Linnea L.Linnea Lehmkuhl is originally from Walnut Creek, California, but after high school she decided to spice up her life and move to Sweden for college. Since she moved there, she has been filling her time with meeting new people and adventuring as far as her bicycle can take her. Linnea comes from a very close neighborhood, and as a child she and her neighborhood friends would take to the streets on big wheels and tricycles to the local pool where they played and invented all sorts of games. Matt went to Woodleigh School for his secondary schooling and now has deferred his studies of Project Management at RMIT University in Melbourne. His hobbies include every type of sport you can imagine be it Australian Rules Football, cricket, basketball, swimming, running, mountain biking, snowboarding and surfing. She is also a nanny for an English family who have 2 young boys that keep her running around all hours of the day playing crazy games. 18 years of age she is in her second year out of Seaview High School, which was located just a 2 minute drive from the beach, so home time in the summer was always looked forward to! Jess's favourite hobbie is Hip-Hop Dancing which she has been doing for the past 7 years and has competed nationally and internationally several times, winning numerous gold medals! As a child Jess would lock herself in her room for hours to make dance routines up to Britney Spears and perform them for her stuffed toys. |

U.K. He is 21 years old and is currently studying Anatomy in the University of Dundee, Scotland. In his spare time Deian really enjoys sports, playing football (soccer) and rugby for the university teams. He is also a member of the University Surf club. One of Deian's main passions is the great outdoors and is found hiking and climbing in Snowdonia. He really loves travelling having visited Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Bolivia, he is now looking forward to popping over the pond to see the U.S.A. Cabin Counselor: Michael S.Michael grew up in the bay area in a city named Walnut Creek. He attends the University of Oregon and will be a sophomore this fall. He enjoys playing soccer, mountain biking, relaxing at the beach, climbing, and chilling with his friends wherever it may be. Michael is adventurous and is a kid at heart, he loves going on hikes and other adventures with his friends in the local open space. As a kid Michael attended Mountain camp for five memorable summers where he developed his love for mountain biking. For the last two years, she has attended Santa Barbara City College, and now is greatly looking forward to attending UC Santa Cruz in the Fall of 2011 as a Sociology major. Hanna has always loved music. She danced before she walked and sang before she talked! However, it wasn't until Hanna's first year at Mountain Camp when she first picked up a guitar that music consumed her life. Now, she continues writing her own songs and collaborating with others. Hanna also loves doing yoga, going camping, and simply being outdoors. As a child, she loved to take adventures down to the creek by her house and explore nature. |

Cabin Counselor: Jacob W.Jacob is a 19 year old student from England, currently working a couple of jobs to save money for University and travels. He is excited about starting Univeristy next year, but even more so for being a counselor at Mountain Camp! When he's not working, Jacob loves to keep fit by running and swimming, and nights off will always be spent with friends and family. Since a child, he has loved to be out and about, doing all sorts of sports from tennis to fencing, but his favourite childhood activity was baking cakes and puddings at home, making a wonderful mess in the kitchen! |

Cabin Counselor: Duncan M.Duncan hails all the way from down under in Melbourne, Australia. He is currently studying media and communications at the University of Melbourne, and will be finishing his final semester at The University of Toronto after camp. He also works full time in the CCUSA Melbourne office, basically because he loves camp that much! It's been a passion ever since he started pitching tents inside his house as a kid, using his mum's bedsheets. In 2008 and 2009 he worked at KenMont and KenWood camps in CT, so is really looking forward to roughing it at Mountain Camp. In his free time, Duncan likes keeping fit, travelling, catching up with friends, and isn't afraid to belt out a tune in the car or shower, albeit badly! |

Cabin Counselor: Nick J.Nick James' name is Nick James. Born in London to British parents, he grew up in the US and calls Marin County home. Returning to his roots, he opted to study philosophy at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, and currently has one year remaining. When not philosophizing, Nick is keen for anything with friends, but among his favorites are: travelling to places both far and near, playing guitar, watching quite literally ANY film --especially if a big bowl of buttered popcorn is involved-- and perhaps above all, a game of basketball. As a kid, Nick preferred to spend his time outdoors, be it shooting hoops or playing pickle in the outfield at the local little league games. |

Cabin Counselor: Conor H.Conors lived in Ireland his entire life which will explain his love affair with travelling. Hes already been to Amsterdam, Athens, London, Loutraki and New York in the last 6 months! When he's not working his tedious job and saving every single cent he earns for his next trip abroad, Conor can be found hanging out with friends, keeping fit or at University, where he studies Animation in The National Film School of Ireland. Video making is another passion of Conor's, having already received a FETAC Certificate in TV & Film Production last year he hopes to one day work in the television industry. He's come along way as the young kid who used to run around the house with his underwear on his head claiming to be 'Mowgli' from 'The Jungle Book'! |

Currently she is at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill studying Biology and running Cross Country and Track for the Tar Heels. Though she enjoys all sports, especially those with skis, she also loves drawing and getting lost in a good novel. As a kid when not participating in a serious game of tag you would find her playing pretend in one of her many forts. James has studied English literature and film at university and will be returning to his studies , later in the year, to take a further course in English and Cultural Studies. James enjoys spending his time playing soccer and basketball as well as making music, watching films and travelling. He has previously spent time in China as part of cultural exchanges, climbing the Great Wall of China twice! James has previously taken part in acting classes, having appeared briefly on a national television show, as well as producing his own independent films. In his younger days, when not on the soccer pitch or basketball court, James spent his summer times at his Auntie's place by the sea. |

Cabin Counselor: Maddie J.Born and raised in the honey hills of the North Bay, Maddie Jensen is proud to call Petaluma, California her hometown. Not only because it was once the dairy capital of the world, (what up) but because of the beautiful scenery, artistic culture and lovely people that inhabit the unique little city. Maddie is currently studying Environmental Studies and International Studies in the very rainy (and strange) city of Eugene at University of Oregon. As for her future, she hopes to travel the world and teach English abroad before educating others on sustainability. As a child, she enjoyed forcing the kids in her neighborhood to act in the plays she wrote, directed and starred in. And although she still adores theater, Maddie has definitely calmed down and expanded her interests. You can see her often bike riding, singing, eating cheese, playing tennis, telling stories of her travels or laughing at herself on a daily basis. After attending Mountain Camp, Maddie is more than thrilled to recreate the amazing experience she had for this summer's campers. |

Cabin Counselor: Kristin P.Kristin Park, is 19 years old, and from Orinda, CA in the San Francisco Bay area. She attends Colorado State University and is studying Health and Exercise Science. CSU is located in Fort Collins, a city next to the beautiful Rocky Mountains. When she isn't studying, Kristin loves to explore Colorado to the fullest by doing activities such as hiking, biking and skiing.She has participated in many sports during high school and continues to stay active in any way she can. As a child, Kristin loved to dance, no matter where she was; in dance classes, at home, at the store, on the swim block... sometimes forgetting to dive. She enjoys visiting her family and home where her favorite activities are walking her dog, reading really good books, babysitting and meeting friends for concerts and movies. Kristin attended Mountain Camp with her family and as a camper for four years. Kristin can't wait to return to Mountain Camp once again! |

Cabin Counselor: Suzanne K.Suzanne Kelson is from the lovely Lafayette, California. She is an undergraduate studying Biology and Japanese at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Suzanne loved to dance everywhere as a little girl ñ on stage, in the studio, in the living room, and in the front yard. She continues to dance with a performing ensemble. She also loved the adventure of building forts, going camping, and looking for bugs. She still seeks adventure through hiking and rock-climbing when she's not busy being a student. She can't wait to return to one of the best lakes in her childhood memory! |

Cabin Counselor: Joshua C.Joshua Clason is from Sacramento Ca, born and raised! He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and gained his love of the outdoors from spending most of his summers camping and hiking in Northern California. After the scouts school became his major priority and has been his main focal point for all of his young adult life. He has attended many colleges throughout his academic career, most notedly the world renowned Brooks Institute of Photography where he learned that his love of photography could be turned into a career in teaching. He just finished his junior year at Sacramento State where he will receive his BA in photography. After that he will attend graduate school in order to acquire an MFA in photography. He loves to be behind the camera and can be lost for weeks at a time in the desert or mountains of California. His major goal in life is to become a professor of photography and hopes to gain important teaching skills from the young campers this summer. He is a fun loving guy and the uncle of 3 nephews and 2 nieces. He came from a big family and loves being around people. If your looking for him when you come to camp, make sure to find the crowd and look in the center, that is where you will usually find him. |

Cabin Counselor: Rhiannon L.Rhiannon grew up in Swansea, Wales (UK) and has spent the last two years at the United World College of the Atlantic, an international boarding school, where she has been studying for her International Baccalaureate. She is currently finishing off her last few days at school and planning her move to Canada after camp, where she will be starting as a freshman at the University of Calgary. Rhiannon spends most of her free time outside with her friends; playing ultimate Frisbee, going on adventures, or spending time in the water. As a child, Rhiannon was always getting stuck up trees that no one else could climb, and loved telling her parents about her latest superpower. Her childhood talents included holding her breath for a whole minute and singing into hairbrushes; and she's not ashamed to admit that, even at 18, she still has the urge to climb trees every now and again... |

Cabin Counselor: Stuart C.Stuart was born in Liverpool, England but grew up in Melbourne, Australia. He currently lives in the UK and works in Human Resources at Lancaster University. His hobbies include cooking, travelling, playing korfball and football, and learning about all sorts of things from finance to nutrition. As a child Stuart's favourite pastimes were riding his bike with his brothers and friends, and having a kick about in the backyard. He also loved going on camping trips with the family and boogie boarding the day away at the beach over Summer. |

Cabin Counselor: Phil V.Phil comes from that 'land down under' residing in the beautiful beachside area of the Sunshine Coast in sunny Queensland, Australia! Phil is 23 and graduated from High School in 2005 and has worked as a professional carpenter ever since. He finished his apprenticeship early in 2010 and gained his qualification and registration as a Builder in late 2010. He has since spent his time building residential houses and small commercial jobs. Phil has been a keen member of his local Surf Club, Noosa Heads, for 7 years where he is the Captain of his beach patrol as well as a rescue water craft operator (waver runner) and is skilled in many areas of surf rescue including different types of first aid through to water rescues in all (sometime large) surf conditions. Phil has been Swimming, Surfing, Wakeboarding, Boating since before he could walk and most his life revolves around the beach. Phil also has passion for Rugby Union and can regularly seen on the local touch football field or beach volleyball court, when gets a chance he loves to Snowboard and plans to hit the slopes hard after camp! As a child Phil loved nothing more than waking up early and surfing as the sun came up! |

Cabin Counselor: Jeremy D.Jeremy was born and raised in Hamilton, New Zealand's fourth largest city. He grew up outdoors, being surrounded by some of the most spectacular countryside and beaches in the world. A keen and experienced sportsman with a classic Kiwi "give-it-a-go" attitude, Jeremy loves to spend time with friends and family (or whanau as they say in NZ), especially his little baby sister. Jeremy studied Theatre and Media at Waikato University, but spent his student allowance on comic books instead of class readings. Jeremy also scored a role in a film about New Zealand high school life in, in which he played the movie's villainous role- a personality far removed from his own! He also tried (like many Kiwi's) to land a role in The Lord of The Rings- only to find out he was too tall to be a hobbit and too short to be an orc! Jeremy works at a local cinema, seeing as many free movies as he can stand. |
